My Dad gave me my Grandfather’s vintage Zeiss film camera, a handheld lightmeter and that’s how it all started. I walked around the garden and clicked away. We would develop the film and that’s where I learnt the valuable lesson of mistakes and wasted strips of negatives. But most importantly this is where I learnt about light and the love of the image and the memory it evokes. My life was filled with photos. Our family documented everything and today I am extremely lucky to have a library of images (from 1908, I might add) of my family history.
It is here that I will share the images I have taken. The memories I have created with others and the stories of my life as a photographer. Some will be personal and some will be of work I have done for others.

I’m from a cute little coastal city at the tip of South Africa called Port Elizabeth, Gqeberha. But we just call her PE and everyone else calls her The Windy City. It blows, probably 358 days of the year.
I recently found my passion for creating again and this is what this website is about and where I will share more of my craft. My wish is to be able to bring joy into your life with what it is that I do here. Be it photography, art, hand crafts or just a place for you to retreat as you embrace your own creative passions
